Glass and Porcelain Painting : Cutie smiling face glass

Age: 5 and up (with help from adults for smaller age kids)

Description

A simple way to make your own glass!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What you'll need:

1. A glass

2. Porcelain Paint

3. Colour pallet

4. Sponge

5. Masking tape

6. Scissors

How to make it:

 1. Tape the glass as the picture above shown by masking tape.

      p/s: the glass must be cleaned before the tape applied.

      

 

2. Use sponge to applied the base (1st layer) porcelain paint on the glass.

3. Now use sponge to apply the 2nd layer (darker color) of porcelain paint to make toning.

    p/s: Must let 1st layer/base dry before apply the 2nd layer, also light pressure is a must 

    when applied this layer of color.

 

 

4. Cut a circle and apply porcelain on that circle then pre-press on the glass as the smile face.

    p/s : whole circle must apply pressure equally to present a full circle on the glass.

5. Draw the decoration (dot and flowers) as decoration by using brush.

 6. Use brush to draw the smiling face inside the circle on the glass.

 

7. At last, tear off the masking tape. Then you will see a lovely smiling face glass in front of you!

    p/s : cotton bud can be used to clean the untidy color that smear into the tape while applying

   the 1st and 2nd layer of color.
