Deepavali Greeting Card

Difficulty: Intermediate
Age: 7 & above

Description:
Deepavali is just around the corner! Let's grab your scissors and glue to make a unique greeting card to your Indian Friend to send your best wishes!!

What you'll need:
Color paper (preferable in black), color pencil (classic style), sliver marker pen, glue,color sand, glister glue (sliver/gold color),sequence, pencil and eraser. 




How to make it:
Use pencil to sketch out the lamp and light as shown at picture beside.( this is for inside of the card)


























Same as previous step, but now need to sketch out the flower pattern. The flower pattern may change based on own preferable style.






















Dark brown color pencil is needed for this step. The dark brown color need to color surround the top part of the lamp.
p/s: don't over pressure when doing the color pencil coloring. 




















Gold color pencil is used to fill full the top part of the lamp after the dark brown color was applied. 
p/s: don't over pressure when doing the color pencil coloring. 










 Gold color pencil now is use to draw the line according to the lamp shape for the whole lamp.
p/s: this step need more pressure than the previous 2 step.






















White color is used to draw some line at the middle to make the lamp look more "3D".
























Then, color the white color on the light.
p/s: start from the middle part then slowly color to outside but need to leave a little bit space for orange and amber color.






















Surround the light with orange and amber color. Remember to do blending among white, orange and amber color. 






















Sliver color marker pen is used to make some decoration for the lamp and also to write the greeting words. And now, the inside of the card is done! Time for us to move to the front side.






















Apply glue follow the particular section that draw out early, then pour the different color sand on to the particular part. Color arrangement may change based on own preferable color/arrangement.
Leave it for at least 1 hours before move to next step.


















Paste the sequence around the flower to make celebration feel.


























Lastly, apply the sliver color glister glue follow the flower line. Leave it at least 24 hours/fully dry before sending it to your dearest friend ya~
