Foam Craft: Coaster For your DAD!

Difficulty: Easy
Age: 5 and up (with help from adults for smaller age kids)

Description:
Father's Day is June 19, 2011. Wish to present your dad a gift?
Dads love it when their kids give them presents, but they will really love a gift that was made with your child's own hands.
Let's have a simple and useful craft!

 What you'll need:
1. UHU multi-purpose adhesive
2. Orange color and Blue color foam (you may choose other 2 colors)
3. Scissors
4. Ruler, pencil

How to make it:

Step 1 - Measure 5X 1cm width and 29cm length strip of a orange color craft foam sheet.
Step 2 - Repeat the same for a blue color craft foam sheet.
Step 3 - Cut out the strip.

Step 4 - Apply UHU dots along the length of blue color craft foam strip.
Step 5 - Align the Blue and orange strips together. Hold it for a minute or so to allow the UHU to set.

Step 6 - Now, Fold in the end of the outer strip.
Step 7 - Start rolling the craft foam tightly into a spiral. Keep the spiral fairly flat by steadying it with your thumb as you roll.
Step 8 - Once you've finished rolling the entire length, hold the it for a minute or so to allow the UHU to set. * You may also put the coaster in between two fairly heavy objects.

Step 9 - Apply UHU dots along the length of orange color craft foam strip.
Step 10 - Fold in the end of the outer strip.
Step 11 - Start rolling the craft foam tightly into a spiral.
Step 12 - Repeat the step 9 to step 11 for other foam strips.

Step 13 - Now, put the UHU and combine the spiral together as shown in the picture.
Step 14 - Put it aside for UHU to set. Then, you can present to your dad as a coaster to put in office/home.
