Clay & Felt Craft: Xmas Tree Decor

Looking for something unique for your Xmas Tree?
Let's make ourselves this unique Xmas Tree decor to impress ourselves as well as our friends!  Enjoy!

What you'll need:

1. Gold / Silver color hard paper (can buy from Popular or any Stationary Shop)
2. Red & White Felt

3. Gold / Silver shinning wide ribbon + Red thin ribbon

4. Clay in various colors
5. White Glue

6. Scissor

How to make it:

The Base
1. Draw a Stocking shape on the Gold/Silver hard paper and cut it out.
2. Trace the shape on the Red Felt and cut it out
3. Trace the top part of the Stocking shape on the White Felt, make the bottom part with wave edge and cut it out
4. Make the Red ribbon a ring and Glue it on the Gold/Silver Stocking shape paper.  You may choose to stapler it for stronger stick.
5. Glue the Red Felt on the Gold/Silver hard paper. Follow by the White Felt.  You may sew the edge if you want.
5. Tie a Gold/Silver Ribbon and glue on the White Felt area.  You are done with the base.  Put it aside.
The Decor
6. Make a small round shape using yellow clay.  Flatten it.  Use scissors to cut out the star shape.  Put it aside.
7. Make a water drop shape using green clay.  Flatten it.  Use ruler and to make lines on the edge to form the Xmas Tree shape.
8. Roll a long thin line using red clay.  Add on top on the Xmas Tree shape as decor.  You may also make a few small tiny round shape using yellow or white clay as decor on the Xmas Tree.
9. Mix small amount of red & blue clay to yellow clay until it turn into brown.  Make it into a rod shape.  Flatter a bit to form the Xmas Tree trunk.
10. Glue all the parts on the Base.  You may also add other small decor besides the Xmas tree to make it more attractive.
11. DONE!!
